What happens after accepting someone as a Friend?

It is difficult to make friends with people that you don't know and that you know very little about!

I suppose that if someone where a great blogger and you followed him or her for a while you could get to know them and then contact them if there were similar interests.

Blogging is a lot of work.

And how do you get followers?
